Chi Lites - Oh Girl Sampled beat

I love this sample (as well as the original track), such a nice upbeat vibe to it. The feel of the track is perfect and the drums fit nicely. Personally, I think the snare could be turned up a bit and the hi-hats could be turned down slightly. Right now the hi-hat dominates the mix a little too much and detracts a bit from the kick and snare. Regardless, it turned out really nice, I can picture a lot of rappers looking for beats like this.

I like everything but that kick, too much reverb IMO.

I love that little Lupe Fiasco sample at the beginning.

Also seems kind of quirky how loud the chorus sounds in comparison to the verse, should be the opposite.

Just my opinions of course.
 
Thank for the good criticism. I felt a little wavy about the kick my self, I layered two kicks so that might be the cause...& I'm going to tone the hook down as you stated so I can try to get a more balanced sound. Thanks bro!
