I see what you were going for, but I'm not a fan of the melody. The drums are dope and the arrangement is pretty good, but the melody isn't sonically pleasing at all. Look into some more samples and synths, because these drums are too dope to be used on second rate sounds. Keep it up!

I like how you flipped the sample and the toms, but would really like this if it had just a little bit more bounce - something to really make that neck snap. Sequencing and mixing are on point, though, and I can see someone spitting on it as is. Really feelin this funk especially the sections where you just let the beat and bass ride.

With the right rapper, this shit would go hard. The chorus switch up thing is cool. The arrangement is good. Instrument selection is good. Over all, i like it. find a rapper and its a done deal.
