i recently got a replacement macbook from work, to my shock, no firewire port... my whole studio works thru ADAT to my firewire interface.... now it doesnt..
anyone know of a solution? any cheap boxes that convert adat to usb?

how about.. running my firewire card thru the mac mini, and then passing the audio to new mac via lan....? mmmh latency
