I think the chick is hot.
I think her voice is not.

Autotune helped a bit on her first song, this time the vocals are kinda dead. But hey, Jennifer Lopez once had a carreer and I guarantee you, she´s a worse singer than any being walking this earth (including deaf dogs).

The beat is "ok", the sounds lack some serious tweaking.

Yeah, it could be worse, but it definitly could be a lot better.
 
yeah, skip this, the beat is alright, not aight, but Cassie isn't really NICe at all. She pretty and all, but it's not hot to me.

Is it me, or does he never use high hats? It takes the drive out of his tracks! That Cassie girl is really HOT and seems like a cool person.......but her vocals always sound like he would tell her to speak and not sing (that choppy sound on the vocals, especially in the chorus). It breaks my heart to see good ideas not becomming good songs.
 
^^ now that i think of it, you may be right about the hi hats. i've heard him use the metronome/808 rimshot sound, but never hi hats
 
He has no quantization skillz to use the hi hat, lol.
 
im only feelin the percs....ryan leslies drums are always hot...i think his best work to date is loons down for me that beat was crazy......but look out for mysto&pizzi on cassie's album, their really sick!

ugh such a cookie cutter track. could replace cassie with any female rnb/pop singer. beat is ok. cant hate on ryan for making moves though. lots of work to break an artist, especially with how quickly "Me & U" blew up..

I respect Ryan's hustle...Mysto and Pizzi too.

Much respect and love to them cats, they doin their thang.

But Cassie's "Long Way to Go" is the same drum pattern as Remy Ma's "Conceited" that was produced by Scott Storch.

Sounds like the same drum sounds too...finger-snaps, the quarter-note triplet ethnic drum sound. And the synth riff is similar to the flute sound in Remy Ma's.

I aint mad though, it's a tried and true technique that works.

I like Cassie ,but the track seems to much for her.what she needs is simple production .A beat and simple melody for her to shine .She has the star factor working for her but she needs more cutting edge music behind her like her previous track "Me and U"

jesus this girl is garbage she puts me to sleep the auto-tune was all over her track at least she was attempting to sing. Anytime she tries to show any range the auto tune helps her ass out though lol....

i like Ryan Leslie's beats. and Mysto and Pizzi's. They're all hella sick on the production tip. i, personally, have heard only a very few amount of cats on here who could match or even come close to their skill. and the fact that theyre teenagers, makes it even better lol. if i were an adult tryna get in the industry, **** i'd hate too. lol
