Can someone recommend me a good keyboard/synth

So I am looking go get a new keyboard/synth. I currently own a Maudio keystation pro 88 midi controller. It's okay but nothing special about it. I am looking to pick up a synthesizer keyboard. Can anyone recommend me some good ones? I have a decent budget but there is no way I'm dropping 3 grand. $1,500 is my absolute maximum ( even though I would prefer less that that, but you get what you pay for. Any knowledge will be helpful. Thanks fam
 
if u already have a controller u could get that motif xs rack, its got alot of nice sounds in it. I wouldnt recommend another keyboard since u already have a keybed. Why do u need 2 keybeds?
 
Well it's weird.. Every time I record something, say I play a 8 bar piece. There is always a couple notes that sounded fine when I was playing them. BUT when I play it back I will miss a few notes here and there tht I played. I don't know if its something ****ed up internally in the controller or what but it pisses me off. Motif Xs rack? I will look into that. It works with reason I am assuming ? That's what I use .
