Now im not going to be producing music so i wont need producing equipment. Im just a singer/rapper so i just need vocal stuff like mics, headphones, etc. Im new to this so i would very grateful for someone to help me. Thanks in advance :p

Pawnshop or Craigslist and prepare to haggle. I buy and flip this stuff on the regular, these are the prices ranges I usually come across...

Shure SM58-$30-50
krk Rokit Monitor's-$70-150
Sturdy Desk-$10-30
Pop Filter-$15-30
Mic Stand-$15-30
Auralex MudGuard Mic Isolation Shield-$40-100
M-Audio Fastrack Interface-$40-80

You may get lucky and find an old BOSS BR-8 recorder and save on computer space/hassle. $50-120

That's your basic acoustic vocal setup. You obviously have a computer. Choose your DAW and record.

Do mic isolation shields make a big difference? I thought a pop filter is all i needed
