overall I think its dope.. sometimes there is beauty in simplicity. If the repetitiveness was intended then it is what it is...I think it would definitely lend well to the right artist

This is a nice track. The engineering here is nice, especially focused around the drums. I do however feel the melody and drum arrangement does get repetitive after a while. Perhaps counter melodies would offer another element, yet a rapper will fill those "gaps" if delivered properly. Nice work.

yoo dat bass is heavy knockin my speakers! this is deff dope the snare is nice and clean and kicks in nicely! very airy and spacey which makes it even more dope! the transitions sound smooth. good work keep grindin!

Only thing id say is the bass seems a bit too overpowering.

Yo, I love the drums and the guitar sample. Those together are super dope. The only thing Im iffy about is that filtered/flanger type of sound you used. If it was a pad or something more "listenable" it would be better in my opinion. But the this beat has some serious potential and may get picked up as it is.

The "flanger type of sound" isn't a sound but a flanger effect on the whole sample. Thank you for the feedback.
 
Nice, I like the guitar sample. I like the synth melody but I feel it sound better with different synth sound. Something fuller in the mix with less static/distortion when combined with the phaser effect. I agree with the other post about the bassline seems slightly off key. Also the drums could be eq'd bigger in the mix. Maybe some parallel compression.

I don't think repetition is a problem here personally, especially with an artist on it. The hi hats are my favourite part in this. For some reason I can't picture ASAP on this though! haha. This beat sounds like it belongs on the soundtrack for that movie "Man with the iron fist", really good soundtrack but not so great movie... I can't find any negatives in this and I swear to you I'm not just being nice.

nice flowy song love what you did starting at 1 10 ...the hi hats wern't my taste but overall dig this track
 
yea I can definitely see asap on this. I am at laptop using just normal speakers so I cant hear the 808, but in my opinion I think the drums--the snare and regular kick could hit a little harder and louder but that's my opinion and plus I am using shit speakers. I think overall its a solid track with good mixing of the samples, synths or whatever you used. I like the string kinda sound and the spacy sound in the backround, I think this gives it that asap feel! keep it up. check out my beat thanks
