Isn't it bad enough that EVERY song on the radio already has that "Neptunes sound"?
 
They use a lot of different synths, but their secret is in the plugins. If you have the clones cd, chad is talking about all of their hardware and how they lay a track down and use plugins at the end. So anyone can get an ASR-10 or a Triton, but if you dont have their plugins, their creative minds for that matter, then you wont get that sound.

if this was a joke, then listen to jay z "i just wanna love you" when he says "get you bling like that neptune sound" and when you hear the sound that follows, just cut it out and voila!!

i have alot of the neptune sounds....or i have the ones alot of people want to have as far as drums and and one hit sounds.
 
i had an opportunity to talk to Chad during signing of Clones, he said that 99% of their drum sounds come from a Triton...
 
ill give anybody the so called neptunes sounds..cause to me its like poison....in fact everybody when somebody ask for the neptunes tips and tricks give it to them...i can go to bed and sleep better knowing there are a thousand so called beat makes slash producers trying to sound like somebody else as for im tring to sound myself. So once the neptunes sound died so will the so called wannabes cause its hard to get something out of you that you try so hard to mimic. Whats next try to be real producer ha ha you lost. once poison is in your body there is no getting it out.....

Why can't people realize that the reason the neptunes and timbaland were so big last year is because they were doing something DIFFERENT?!
