Slavery still exist today as well. Just because some pact was signed to abolish it doesn't mean that the mentality and practice of it today doesn't exist. Let's see, you're forced to work for the government, abide by their laws, and pay money back to them in taxes. If you don't, then you are punished. You are issued a number ala SSN to be tracked and tagged like a herdman would do his cattle as well. You can buy a house, a car, and land but yet you never truly own it do to the taxes that you are forced to pay on them every year regardless of whether you finished paying for them or not. If forms of slavery didn't exist well into the 1900s then why were Marting Luther King Jr. and Malcom X fighting so hard to free blacks segregation and discrimination. A pact or agreement don't mean nothing, as you all know. Look how many pacts and agreements have been broken throughout history or just made up to please a particular group of people. It was written in the Constitution that blacks were supposed to recieve reparations for being enslaved by recieving 40 acres and a mule. Where's yours. Also, look at what happened to Abraham Lincoln for pushing the idea. The white man don't have to beat black people anymore because we are beating, mistreating, and killing ourselves. By the way, I don't mind failing at something that's not important and wrong anyways.
