Well I think one of best programs I have seen is Acoustica mp3 audio mixer. It has very thing in one package. Burner, mixer and wave converter. It is real good for song mixing. Can have lots of tracks going and it easy to use. I had it one day and done 3 songs on it. i have yet to find another program that I can use over 220 files in one song. Only draw back is it don't have alot of fx's so it is not a stand alone program. If anyone wants to try it out you can d/led it a zdnet.com.

This is a mix and burn program not really for live play.

I have nothing to do with this program just really like it and did not see it on your list.

having used most of the sofware on here gotta rate .traktor 2.5 as the best ..followed by bpm

Dss the best out there next to Ots...i've tried them all

Ots Juke the best? you must be joking right? are you just a playlist DJ that uses autoplay then? because other then that, it's worthless,

i didnt see dj mixstation it is a great program and it has the ability to use headphones and speakers using one sound card pretty neat huh heh

hello everyone,

Great suggestions on all the DJ software available. I am now looking into the computer age of mobile djing. I own the powerbook 17 1gh unit and want to use a software package for Mac that has a Denon 2600f type remote control unit. I have virtual pc6 XP Pro loaded onto my Apple but don't think a windows based software package will work as well. I'm leaning towards Traktor but there is no remote control available, at least I don't think there is? Does anyone know of a third party usb or firewire controller that will work with Traktor? I would really appreciate anyone's assistance.

Thanks,
DJ Marco

am sure most DJ apps do the monitoring thing that you say DJ Mix Station does .. not least PCDJ!

ps if you're looking for the best, most widely used/respected app out there ..

i have tried almost all of the programs listed except a few which i will try know. so far bpm is the best but very expensive at $599.

Vegas Audio 4.0........used to be by Sonic Foundry but now it's under Sony

yeah there is plenty of apps that do monitoring but this is the only one that will let me do it with one soundcard but if ye hear of anymore please post them

single soundcard monitoring's standard in all versions of pcdj ..??!? 8)

From what i heard, Final scratch was the best for dj;s that want to still have the feel of records. Is there a better program that does that?
