The reason that i posted this is because i am intrested in hearing peoples personal thoughts that have tryed the mixer out i dont want to hear people tell me it sucks if they have not tryed it i have nothing wrong with behiringer my friend has one and it sone of the best mixers i have ever heard so if you have used the VMX 300 or own one pleas reply to me

i have the 200 which is prutty much the same thing as the 300 without the exta channel, its a very good mixer i highly suggest it if your looking fo r a mixer under 200 bucks

I learnt on a VMX 100 and i soon grew to hate once i got any good!! Its awful the eq's are rubbish, if this is gonna be your first mixer then fine use it learn on it then upgrade if its not your first mixer and your pretty good on your decks please shell out on something worth while, if your into your djing then why not by something which is quality and will last you like a Vestax or Rane? Behringer are rubbish simple as that, my crossfader started to bleed with in a few months even though genrally 80% of the time i used the volume faders anyway (im a mix dj) so within a few months and with hardly any use the crossfader bled. If that doesnt say: "this mixers is a bag of $hit" to you I really dont know what will. I've met a few people who have also had crossfader problems on their behringers.

The sound quality isnt the best either but is by far not the worst.

I would say shell out for something good unless its your first mixer then yea this should be okay for you.

Tascam makes some very nice mixers. You don't hear alot about them, because I think Tascam is too busy pushing it's recording division.

I just picked up a XS-8 for scratching. I have a Pio 600, but it is just not a battle mixer. If your looking for something with outstanding sound quality, extremely well built faders, super tight fader curve adjustment and pro connections in a very simple design, check out the Tascam XS series.

Oh.... They dropped the price on the XS-8 from 600 to 300 just after they intro'd
the X-9.
