good point on beats by dre. i know my homie was really trying to get the lap top that had "dre speakers" lol

It's going to have outward facing speakers so you can go up to people and say "Listen to this beat I'm thinking of, tell me if you like it. You'll close your eyes, think of the beat and it'll play. The end of piano lessons.

They already have software that forces you to play the right notes...

I played with that before.

Ableton IMO has the best one. I forget what its called but I think a DJ made it...

I bought one of those plugs back in the day...it kinda impeded my workflow....

There is also a trick you can do in FL studio to get a similar result.....

Yeah the one I posted isn't that good. If you try to play the notes too fast... they cut off the note you just played. I emailed the guy and he never responded... eh. Never even used it to actually make anything.

Beatthang is the wackest beat machine/ u could buy and the beatkangz dont care about nothin but your money and they dont care about your support the virtual and
the hardware is buggy as hell and when you try to tell them what they need to fix on the thang and they start actin cocky like nothings wrong with the thang when all the users are saying its buggy. they played a bunch of people when they 1st started i was on their 1st site that they took down cuz everybody in the forum was make them look bad complaining about their lies and lack of good support then they started claiming Dallas austin created it lol he did not create that thang............all u need is the sounds the sound designers from dopesound are dope jus get all the sounds as wav and put them in whatever u use thats what i recommend and ive used both the virtual and the hardware the beatkangz are wack!! trust me i will never again purchase a thing from them
 
I would never buy that. Looks like a ****ing toy. I'll stick with my mpd & mpc...

my girl bought me the software version as a part of my christmas gifts because i showd some interest at guitar center. the software is all scetchy/ glicthy. its not easy to use or figure out.the only thing i like about it is the sounds and instruments it has , they are good current quality sounds. the reason i showed interest in it was that i thought i can run it as a VST in FL but it has to be used as a standalone program. when i was first starting i bought the street boxx by the same people (beat Kangz) and i loved the sounds but again you were limited by the function of it and you could not refill the sounds/sample. what you bought is what you got. i did like the portability tho because i would just be on long bus trips just jammin out.
 
these companies should understand that if you sell bread, sell bread, but don't act like you sell spaceships.
 
I will go against the grain and co-sign this piece of software/hardware. Had been eyeing it for quite some time. Got the software version and actually made a few beats w/ it and got to send them to some labels [Hate getting something and not putting it to use]. Then was fortunate enough to get into the studio with a producer who was endorsed by them and he told us he'd call the president of the company to do a demo for us in the studio. After meeting the president and making tracks on the Beat Thang itself, i was FULLY convinced. The sounds people. The sounds are amazing as far as drums are concerned. Instruments we weren't fully into, but the drum sounds are dope. Also the president said something very important to us. This is just a tool for the process. Don't think you're supposed to make a beat on this, and then not take it anywhere else. Export, import into your fav DAW. Just my 2 cents.

is there a way, to open this on FL with out having to save it as a wav, i mean like running it as a VST inside FL.
 
you actually can use it inside of fl studio as a VST, yes. We use it like that in some instances.

is there a way you can explain it to me or via pm? thats the reason i got it but couldnt figure out. i like the brass in there as well as the drum samples are dope.

There r much better low-budget options like
MU.LAB 3 $106 make beats, takes vst inst/plugins u can import your own sounds/samples with the stock inst and u can record your vocals!!! mac/pc wit no problems!
