Being a huge weeknd fan I like this vibe. I think the main melody needs something else though. I think this might be rigt to left panning, or volume differences, or possibly a filter or reverb. It needs to have that slower slide along sound that the acapella and the rest of the track has. Good sh my dude, clean mix though. Keep it up! Following u on SC

Gotta be honest, I was not familiar with the original so checked your re-work out then the original (which in all honesty is a little too 'pop' for me)

I'm mighty impressed with what you've done with the vocals in particular, lending them an ethereal quality and the overall vibe is ambient but head-nod with an electronic edge from the lead line.

Good work, cleverly executed.
