There's only two teams battling each week, if I understand correctly. So if each team has a seperate page, they've each got 5 beats on it for their battle, two pages, 5 beats, one battle. Si?

Actually I meant to say all 5 members on both teams( being 10) Thanks for clarifying it for everyone else though.
 
Ox does have a point, most people aren't going to listen to 10 beats just to vote. That's a whole lotta listening. I think each team should choose their top two or three beats and just post those. But then again, half of these people on these teams will never post if we do it that way. Maybe we should have battle levels or somethin'. Like, the lower ranked battlers battle in their division and the leaders and stuff battle in theirs. Then just pick the top beat from each team for each division. I dunno, I'm just talkin' out my ass now.
 
i guess that sucks for those that don't have a team.... or dont like teams for beat battles. How am I gonna get to slaughter you fukkz when i gotta rely on 4 more kidz to back me up? what if i dont particularly like their style... im not gonna tell em i do just cuz theyre on my team. but you guys seem exited about it...
 
If anything....none of the beats should be longer than about 1:30.

If that's not what you're here for then why the fukk even battle? We are talking about hot beats right? Not hot musical beds...hot scores...but hot beats!

The team soundclick page is an interesting idea.

But I have a question...How are both of the mods in the BBF on teams? Doesn't that make things a little biased if any issues were to arise?

I know I'm not listening to 10 beats...

Who the hell thought of 5 team members anyway?

... that's why a certain smart person wanted to keep his team small and not try to get all of the threatening people in the forum on his team....

... who would there be to battle?

We won't have beats every Friday anyway. The Bomb Battalion is quality over quantity.

I say that you have your teams now... a member from each team just shows up on Friday night and battles for his teams honor. That way the team can hear the beat ahead of time. Critique it, hell even add to it if necessary.

And the team that loses for that week has to stay off of the board for a week. The last place team that is...

We'll just let Proper T kick y'all azzes for 4 or 5 months straight.

P.S. - This may not work because THE BOMB BATTALION will never come in last, thus, never be banned for a week.

phuck it 2 team players out of 3 battle per week from each team

leaving a total of 4 beats to listen 2 from team 1 and 2 from team 2

No new soundclick pages
No 10 beats per team battle
No Problems

This way theres always a reserve in ur team that can take ur place if u dont show up


that i believe would be the logical solution

I think that there should only be one beat per team each week. What is the point of forming teams if they don't collaborate as a single unit? Guys like One80, Ox and StopRushing all have FL, so I can see them putting a combined effort, and Rome and Prop have Reason, but it seems that it would be a bit harder for everyone else, but it's not impossible. If the team members can not directly collaborate due to hard/software incompatibilities, they should simply send each other their beats before hand and pick one to face the challenge.
 
I thought the way this was going to work as far as teams, was 1 on 1 matches between the teams. Whichever team wins the majority of thier battles (3 of 5), then they are declared the winner.


So of the members of teams A and B...

1 vs 3
5 vs 2
4 vs 1
3 vs 5
2 vs 4



Each team member is assigned a position number, and keeps that number thru the tourney. Matchups can be chosen at random (we'll have to figure out a way) prior to the weeks battle. So that way, it's completely random who goes against who on each team. You could have the best against the best, or the worst against the best.

Every Team show up with a beat on Friday. Even if the same player has to battle back to back.

Whatever you ho's wanna do it alright with THE BOMB BATTALION though.

Tried to exclude us with bullshyt rules.

You seem to have a lot of pent-up aggression towards songs that aren't a constant loop for 5 and a half minutes. I didn't say it had to be a faggity complex beat, just something to give my ears a break from the same loop playing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again...

Play nice, now. Or wait, you're one of those people that need inspiration to make beats, aren't you? You gotta be angry to make them fire-ass tracks...

And BTW, I know a couple bytches that like to tango...:p

I think Tak and 80 need to set it straight before anybody gets set on one way or another. There's a whole lotta ways to do this and if they don't decide soon everybody's gonna get mad confused.

In a way I sorta agree....but are we just picking the best beat out of each team...or would one team work on the same beat?


That would be some crazy shyt if someone were responsible for the drums...another for the counter melody....the bass....u know...and so forth.




I don't know if that would work. This needs to start by NEXT FRIDAY. That's for damn sure.

Like Baseball, each team put a member up to bat. Not necessarily the best member but they are supposed to help him get his beat tight or whatever.

He goes to bat for the team. The best person may not always have something ready.

Our team gets to hear all of our beats before they are unveiled and if it needs better hi-hats.... we say so... but when that MF hits the battlefield...

... if a person is on your team, they should get a chance at bat. Not always the best player. See THE BOMB BATTALION is fair.

5 teams........1 beat each week

do the math on how long it will take.

5 teams x 5 team members = 25

25 weeks if each member posts 1 beat per week.
