Battle Rappers With Songwriting Skills

I don't give a **** about battle rap as majority is all gun talk but who are the battle rappers in the current era that are also nice with the pen? I ask because of

 
Why is that? Why can't battle rappers make hot songs?

I never understood this. Are they not talented enough, if it
the format? What is it?

Is it lack of guidance from a producer?
 
i think their writing style isn't taylored to write songs. their used to writing diss raps.. not making songs.. i recently did this track for hit man holla.. he's a better songwriter then i thought he'd be..
