Avalon M5 Mono Pure Class A Microphone Preamp

Yes, and actually if I got the A2D by API I would sell that Avalon. There is really no need to have the Avalon M5 and a pair of API 312s. I am not a fan of Avalon pres or compressors. Avalon EQ sounds nice but... there are better channels out there for the price.

I also think the Lavry is a very nice ADC that I would not pair with an Avalon M5. Again, not a fan, very biased. If you are looking for ADCs than you might want to take a look at my post on our top 5 picks: http://sonicidiot.wordpress.com/2010/06/28/top-5-ad-converters-under-2000/
