Audition 3.0 Question

so im recording in adobe auduiton 3.0 and i want to know if it is a way i can record and hear what im saying at the same time?do need something extra?im using a sampson usb mic and audition 3.0.

My friend was over here recordin yesterday, he still use Audacity to record and does all his editin in Audition so idk. I'm sure it's possible though. Check the settings, that's how it is in Audacity.

yeah i use audacity aswell but the playback while recoding has a delay that throws u off

You can easily work around. Either use trial & error deleting silence, or go to Preferences - Recording - Latency.

This might not be helpful... but you probably don't really want to do this. It will almost always throw you off.

Just record with only one cup of the headphones on and one off... that way you can hear yourself much more naturally... from your own mouth to your own ear.

rather than from your mouth, into the mic, through the interface, through the software, out the headphones, and into your ear.
