ASR 10 using the CD-ROM and Zip drive?

Hey I don't have an ASR 10 yet so I am a little bit confused on how this would work. I'm looking to purchase one and the seller is offering both the CD-ROM scsi drive w/ sample CDs along with a scsi zip drive. Is this redundant? Or am I able to load an instrument from the CD drive and then use the zip drive?

if someone could explain this to me I am a little confused how one would use both :confused:
 
before you buy the ASR, make sure that it does have the SCSI card installed since they are so rare. that's the only way the SCSI CD rom and SCSi Zip drive will connect to the ASR.

IMHO... I'd sell the Zip drive since those are prone to crap out on you because of the known "click of death" problem.
