another artist who I know was against people sampling their work was the late James Brown. He was disgusted by rappers who sampled his grunts and shouts in their songs.

He may have been against it, but it still happened lol. Total - Can't You See ft. Biggie

Another Hard one to get sampled cleared (I guess) is Elvis,I only heard that one Remix of Little less converstion that was done in 2000 I think.Only Elvis sample I've heard anyways.

R. Kelly molests little girls and pisses on them while recording it for his later review.

Michael Jackson is "worse" then a homosexual if he has homosexual desires with adolescent boys.

Prince just hasn't been caught up yet and put on blast. Come on look how dude dresses. he did get married to Manuela Testolini for a brief period but everyone knows that just because someone got married it don't mean they are not gay.

ANDRE3000, look at how he dresses. allot of hommies outfits make everyone question his preference. it's so obvious people start asking big boi on radio interviews about dre and if he is gay. i think he is metro sexual as hell but not gay. regardless you can't deny hot music.

Luther Vandross - he was gay and everyone knew it. it wasn't until he died that his friends started admitting he was a unhappily closeted homosexual. Everyone already knew and the last two generations have loved his music. name a rapper that wouldn't do a track with Luther if they would have had the chance.

All artists i mentioned are great artists with strong following who don't care what they do off the mic. i don't think a self proclaimed gay rapper would make it mainstream but hiphop isnt above sampling a gay artist.

Honestly, there are a lot of things that artist I sample from do things I don't like or just hate. It's better if it isn't so noticeable then i'll sample them.
