Artists that makes beats with the mpc 1000?

usually when people talk about a software or hardware they cite also famous artists that work with that machines


so there's anyone of this that uses the mpc 1K ?
 
Mannie Fresh has one Just check the scratch magazine. Its pictured in his studio along with all his other gear.
 
Just Blaze has it in its equipment! But I think with the new OSs a lot more top producers will check the 1k, that's 4 sure!
 
Yes I know, I'd just like to know where it says that Just Blaze also has an MPC 1000.
 
I've definatly seen cheif xcel from blackalicious using it on tour.
 
Midi Mafia mentioned they have a mpc 1000 in an interview...but I believe they still prefer the Mpc 2000xl as their main MPC of choice.
 
why is there always such a concern for who else (famous) uses the equipment that we buy or are considering buying...

a better question would be how many people on this forum are using 1 (and that should not really matter) as opposed to which famous people have (or use them, make no mistake it is not the same)

Because it is interesting. Plain and simple. That's why they usually have producers gear lists in scratch mag. It wouldn't be there if it wasn't interesting. I've never let anyone influence my gear buying decision pro or not but it is interesting to know who's using what sometimes. Someone always starts hatin' when questions are asked like this. Just leave it alone and let people discuss.

I wouldn't mind knowing who uses what on this forum but let's be serious here. People are interested in what pros are using because they are pros. Some people are interested in who so and so is dating in hollywood :rolleyes: As producers we may just find it interesting what was used to produce so and so's newest single. Just curiosity really.
