Are white producers making Hip Hop better?

I'll admit again that Johnny Juliano has some Fire ass beats... but they are nothing near Alchemist's ish. Sorry dawg. It looks like you took a popular style Johnny and ran with it.

i disagree.

Melody lends itself to calmer more brainy people with less testosterone and more of an appetite for docile serenity.

African music is just banging on drums.

Africans had the original level of testosterone, then we migrated away from Africa (then back) then away to where we lost some pigment and gained more cerebral power/patience at the expense of testosterone and the Caucasian and Asians evolved ove the millions and millions of years.

You tell me:

Blues?? Soul?? Melodic??
i never said black music can't be melodic. but most genres of black music are rhythmic its just the way it is. Im not sure why you would try to argue that point with just Blues and Soul. Soul had all kinds of rhythm to it btw. Especially in the 70s

I thought you gave up drinkin rome?

I did, I'm back!

Nah, it's not that easy to quit as people tell themselves.

If I get super stressed and can't calm it down... the store is about 5 minutes away...

I will cut this ish out though AND I'LL BE SUPER REAL... only reason I drank was so I would get all Super Freak on my wife last night.... did you know that she just thanked me... again.

Dilemma...

Robot kid keeps proving his intellectual prowess.

First bragging about his parents money, and how his parents pool table and projector helps him make better beats.

Then bragging about his great job. lol. the one where he peddles fake cigarettes at a mall kiosk.

then some other stupid crap.

now this. wow. robot, please either stop posting or have your parents proof read before you post. you are making white people look bad.

I'm half-black, so that means I will half rock the industry one day, with my half@ss innovative approach to hip-hop.

look imma let you know now, you don't want to get in a discussion with this dude wizard... Just step away slowly and make no sudden movements.

Hahahaha. Nah, I'm cool. I agree with you Biggrome, whoever the fuk this Johnny Juliano dude is just took a popular sound, other people's drum kits etc and make beats until his hands get tired. No originality whatsoever and comparing this clown to the Alchemist is like comparing bronze to gold. No dissrespect to Johnny but bra, you one of the reasons why hip-hop today sucks. Your formula, grab a 808 kick, a cheesy ass synth, and a 808 clap/snare combo and have at it. I have no love for "BEAT WHORES".

Johnny's style is hot right now, that's what he's supposed to be doing.

When the new sound hits... probably 2 years away... hope he and everybody else is ready.

Nothing lasts.... listen to Hip Hop.

Johnny made a dope joint in a vid he posted though... he might have some depth...

Hot to who, the radio must be cause that shyt been played out. Don't confuse popular with a hit.

Anyways the "selling beats" fad is almost over. Those who want to be successful better learn to be original and to write hit records because that's the only way record labels play ball.

That's the problem with most people.... they can't separate shyt. Even if you don't dig Johnny Juliano the person... you can't deny the dude makes bangin' music.

Shallow...

Dude has hot ish, for the current trend BUT! 2 Live Crew had snare rolls... where are they. As long as he can adapt, he probably won't have ish to worry about.

Me, I'd rather be like Dre or Timbo... have a style that people look for and wait for my ish. Everybody knows Dre's ish is basic as hell but we love it. Timbo's ish makes you want to move somehow... and we love it. If you get into being like Zaytoven, Shawty Redd and the rest... we'll pick from the litter.

Not trying to cause a uproar but their is seriously nothing that I've heard from this Johnny guy that's banging, nothing. And listening to your remixes, I can say with confidence that your ear is one of the worst on FP.

You fellas forget that 75% of artists can't tell a hit record from a bad record hence the need for a producer and manager. Every artist I have let hear my beats said, Oh, shyt, that's hot, that's fire and in my mind some of the best were mediocre at best. Look at the radio and listen to that horrendous bullshyt of an artist Gucci Mane, seriously, wtf??? Just goes to show that production is the key, not just making a beat. A beat is only 25% of the whole. The other three 25%'s are the artist, the lyrics, and promotion. You sell beats all day for chicken shyt because that's what these guys are getting and never make a hit song because production involves way more that a freaking beat. Just because somebody buys a beat from you doesn't make it hot. What makes it hot is if the records sells. Bye.
