Recently got back into sampling, and I'm looking for a 16 pad simple plug-in that i can just lay my chopped up sample across. When i used to use FL-Studio, I absolutely loved the FPC, however my PC crashed, and I ended up getting an iMac as a replacement, losing the ability to use the FPC I tried searching KVR and other places for one and had trouble coming across what i was looking for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fxpansion Geist or Motu BPM comes to mind. What DAW are you using? I know DAWs like Sonar and Cubase come with a 4x4 pad plugin.

Im using Logic, sampling just seems so much harder in it compared to FL

I see.

Geist is dope. 16 MPC style pads plus a ASR-X style "keypad" and a step sequencer.
Mto BPM would be good too if you just want the traditional 16 pad layout.

Either one would run as an Audio Unit inside Logic.

Sampling was the single solitary reason I did not start using Logic for production. There seems to be no simple way to load a song, edit a loop from it, and add it to your beat.
I got fed up looking for an FL alternate and took the time to get FL working on my Mac. VMWare fusion, Windows XP, and an audio interface with ASIO(I'm using an M-Box2)gives me access to FL Studio at it's full potential with no glitches.

Warning, if you don't install correctly and try to use drivers not provided by VMware Fusion, you'll get latency problems. Took me a second to get past all the tweaks, but now it works perfect.

You can also try bootcamp, but who wants to dual boot everytime you decide to make a beat when you can run FL inside OSX?

tried the geist demo now, on second thought, not so nice lol.. sucks haha.. reason + kong is prolly the way to go ;)
