Rane, without one single doubt.
Sound is much better, mixer is hands on, and the Flex-FX system is a breeze to work with.

IMHO the best scratch mixer in the world, together with the Xone:02

Rane, no contest. It'd be the only mixer in this world, besides the Xone 62, to make me move out of my DJM... :D:D:D:D:D lol

Rane TTM56 hands down.

Signal to noise ratio of 101db. Gotta love the sound of silence.

Flex FX is dope and easy to use.

Complete kill on the EQ's - I use this as a rotary mixer - very nice.

Faders - smoother than the TTM54i/TTM52i, not as loose as the Focus Fader, lighter than the Vestax PCV.

Centre cut on fader - very nice for bassline/tone manipulation.

This mixer is perfect for playing a wide variety of styles, which suits me fine 'cause I play Hip Hop, Nu School Breaks, Drum and Bass, Funk Breaks and Disco. And the occasional Rage Against the Machine and Linkin Park track.

The way I see it between the fader control and feel and the EQ kills, it's two mixers in one.

The TTM56 is quite possibly the last mixer I'll ever buy.

What's the best price you've seen on this mixer?

Are the channel faders really short? In the picture on the Rance website they look like the fader throw is about two inches from top to bottom.

All the faders on the TTM56 are 45mm - standard for scratch mixers.

As for the best price, they retail in Australia for about $3300 (ouch).

TTM-56 rocks!!! Although I have Vestax PMC-07Pro and Stanton SK Five, I still think that Rane really put out awesome stuff that perform beautifully with the sound quality to match!! I bought the SK Five because I need a cheap mixer to take the abuses while I do my scratch practices. I bought the PMC-07 because... uhm... it was cheap (second hand)!!!

best thing about the new 56 is that it push the price of the 54 down to around $500
