Anyone think that making drums in Ableton is hard?

hi guys, started with ableton recently and my drums dont come out as it did with fl studio, don't get me wrong i love ableton. It's great, but for some reason, ableton and my drums dont agree with each other. Does anyone have similar views?
 
Quantizing mainly, it sounds good when i use my controller to program the drums, but when i quantize the beat it doesn't sound the same. I'm not sure if my settings are wrong. I quantize to 1/16 and 50%. I don't use 100% because the beat becomes too robotic.
 
I think that it can be harder to achieve the correct feel in ableton if you are not careful with your programming techniques. In general I have found that in Ableton you should learn how to separate your drum hits so that you have individual control over sounds and quantize values. DAWs tend to handle quantization differently and 50% quantize in one environment may sound a bit different than 50% quantize in other environments.

I often route additional midi tracks to my drum racks/battery 3 and program individual hits per channel. That way I have separate control over the quantization, swing and delay/shift. This method creates the amount of flexibility I need to lock my groove into exactly where I need it. This is just one method but it seems to give me better results in Ableton.
 
Drum racks works well in fact it is the best it gives full control of your drum hit . The sound shaping capability is endless. Try it and see how it compares to Fl , you'll be amaze what this thing can do.
