anyone know how to change the faders in the technics shdj1200?

Take out faceplate (if applicable)

Take out crossfader

Disconnect crossfader

^Repeat in reverse with new crossfader

This really should be a walk in the park. I think the technics mixer ever comes with a trapdoor in the side with and extra fader in there.

yeah i figured it out. I had a problem with disconnecting it from that wire. Couldn't remember how to do it. Problem is that now all the faders are messed up after using them for 3 years. I guess i can't really complain i got some good life out of them. I guess it's time to shop for a new mixer, which sucks cause i was trying to save up for a denon s5000. Guess that would have to wait :(.
 
place to buy sh-dj1200 faders?

Where can I buy faders for these in the UK ? Cheap and preferably online ? Anyone?

werent these faders soldered in?

if you google the topic you will find dozens of guides on how to do it. many with images........
