Any idea what vocal effects are used in this song?

That whole vocal track is autotuned, it's just more obvious when he changes pitch.

His voice is very compressed, followed by a de-esser which does a good job of helping w/ the overbearing sibilance that was probably there after he compressed.

There's a subtle delay on his voice that makes him sound "chill". It might have reverb after the delay as well to help push the echoes back even further.

Just a quick glimpse.

But U posted 3 days ago lol so probably won't even read this.

Hi Guys,
Heard this cover to OMI - 'Cheerleader' recently, and the guys' voice seems to have many effects to make it sound good. Any idea what is used?
By sounding good, I mean his voice sounds like 'crisp', also robotic at times (autotune) but how does he make his vocals sound so chill and stand out so well?

Here's the video - https://www.facebook.com/ChaosChytistOfficial/videos/10153758228099396/

Thanks,
Reece

The vocals are dynamically controlled, that in turn allows for a serious volume boost on the mix, which causes a big sound.

Thanks, very helpful insight. Good to help with learning about vocal effects!
I'm serious here, I check my replies and messages not like some :)
