akai?

how do you pronounce "akai?" i always thought it was like "AKA" but the second "A" being sounded like an "I." anybody officially know? oh yeah, and "technics." people tell me it's like "technique?" what the ****'s this stuff? catch ya'll on the flipside.

Akai is pronounced "uh-k(eye)"
and technics is pronounced just how it is spelled "tek-niks"

they're both companies that manufacture equipment. Akai makes mostly samplers, but also other stuff (digital recorders, they used to make reel-to-reel analog recorders, but i don't know if they still do)
Technics makes turntables.
