Akai Z4 vs. Kontakt

I have enough processing power and RAM to send a man to the moon. I have a Mac G4 Dual 867 with 3 drives and 1.25gig of RAM. I'm more concerned with the sheer sound quality. When I use the demo version of Kontakt, somtimes you can hear this certain quality which makes it sound fake. I'm hoping that the different sound algorythm an Emu or Akai sampler uses eliminates this.

Hey, FoE -- hang on until you get Logic and spend some time with the EXS24 mkII. It really is an amazing sampler. You might not ever want anything else.

I actually have EXS24 from when I was using Cubase 2 years ago. When i switched to DP, I couldn't use it anymore so i think I threw it in my closet somewhere. Time to go dig it out.
