Akai MPD18 in Fl Studio

Im new to beat making an I've read and watched videos but i still need help using my Akai MPD18 in Fl Studio 10 Producer Edition...PLEASE HELP
 
Well have you ever made a beat? Lol.. Obviously it's not a keyboard so you'd be better off usin the FPC or just a sampler channel so it'd act somewhat like 16 Levels. If the Midi Notes of the pads correspond anything like the MPC's then you'll hit 'random' notes on each pad. (ex. C# on PAD1, C on PAD2) so you could try to compose somethin lol. Or chords maybe? ....
