ive got a miniak. the keys are nice - you def need a software editor as the presets are shite. it sounds good - more analog than most of my vsts, but more digital than an analog (if that makes sense).
personally, i like my miniak, but since getting it, i kind of regret not finding a good old analog synth instead. there is no great point to virtual analog. the fact that they are starting make new analog synths now kinda proves this. and there are lots of great digital synths that have their own unique sound like the korg m1 or the DX7, which can be found as cheap as a microkorg or miniak. my advice, get one of those and then buy a cheap mono analog synth, such as the dave smith mopho. just my 2 cents.
