Kontact Records Kontact Oct 13, 2015 #2 I just got some panels and bass traps on amazon for less than $200. Acoustic Panels Amazon.com: Mybecca- 24 Pack Acoustic Wedge Studio Soundproofing Foam Wall Tiles 12" X 12" X 1" (24 Square Feet) Made in USA: Musical Instruments Bass Traps Amazon.com: Acoustic Foam Bass Trap Studio Soundproofing Corner Wall 12" X 12" X 12" (4 PACK): Musical Instruments I originally got the 1" panels, but I don't notice much of a difference so I would recommend the 2" panels, let me know how they work out for you. What I really needed in my room were the bass traps though.
