Accidentally recorded vocals with limiter on

so I installed FL studio 12 the other day and recorded an entire song, forgetting to take the limiter off the master channel when I recorded the vocals, I'm new to mixing I'm going to get an engineer to mix the whole track, but has that ruined the vocals? because if the limiter was turned on and I was recording the vocals were being run through the limiter kinda adding pre compression? is it a minor thing or will it be a problem in the mix? it was a hip hop track if that helps

Plugin effects don't get recorded, so your files should be fine. The only way you can "print" through effects permanently is to route the output of a track with fx to another (audio) track, so you'd have to be pretty consciously doing that.
