Is there any way to make a beat in Ableton similar as you would in Reason? At this point, I can compile numerous 1 bar drum loops and melodies via clips but I would like to lay things out in a more traditional way.How would I go about doing this and laying it across the screen? Once I have an 8 bar midi loop created, is it possible to copy and paste them across the screen like a traditional sequencer? The only decent midi tutorial video I found is this one (Getting Started 4: Making Music with MIDI-Beats & Melodies - YouTube) and it doesn't really explain how to create a whole song...
