I'm looking to upgrade my front end and I was wondering,
Should I upgrade to a high end interface (metric halo) when all I really do is record hip hop/rap/r&b music, or just upgrade to like a saffire or firestudio and call it? (I am currently using a fast track pro)
I am working to build me another computer and I was wondering if I should put windows xp on there or upgrade to windows 7?
As I looked around for a good control surface I ran across the studiolive line of digital mixers, would that be a good center hub for my recording/production/djing setups (insteading of having 3 different interfaces)
It might seem a little cloudy so if you need clarifaction just let me know,
(Other important points; the production setup only needs 2 in from the dj setup and 4 outs (2 into dj setup 2 into monitor out), and the dj setup need the same)
