Someone didn't watch the video.

Exactly. Everything he mentioned in the video was on point.

It's either hot or not. If anyone says the guy is overrated because he uses Fruity Loops is completely missing the point.

I was suprised when he said kanye used the xplosive drums for the whole college dropout album?? Im gonna have to listen to that again.

9th is one of most humble dudes ever, seems like nothing bothers him.

"u can take a flute and turn it into soul music. soul is a feeling not somebody goin [high pitched voice]aaaaawwwww awwwwwwwww[/high pitched voice] on ya record"

yo somebodys gotta help me out! that beat that come on around 6 minutes where he talks about how he chopped up the sample, it sounds soooo familiar!!! i hate when something sounds familiar like that and i can't place it! anybody know who else sampled that? and what was the original 9th song?

I really thought niggas would be over this whole Fruity Loops thing by now. It ain't no big deal. To be honest, cats who was working with SP and ASR and 950's and 808's had it worse. They ain't even have a screen to look at. Plus that **** was bare bones as ****. FL might as well be Logic compared to that **** back in the day. It's not what you use but how you use it.

With that outta the way, 9th's ill at what he does. That Honey joint he did for Erykah Badu is fire and different from alot of stuff he's done.

You have to obtain thick skin in this line of business. I think 9th is cool with his position. It'll take more then criticism from some internet producers to shake this man.

I hope this isn't directed towards what I said.

I said I'm a fan of 9th, he is a GREAT producer, but theres a good handful I prefer over him and what I said was it seems people treat him like a god because of what he uses, everyone knows it don't matter what you use.

9th is still that dude ,but i heard that he knows piano or something like that ,if that is true 9th should add another dimension to his sample based and take it to another level ,cuz if he know's piano but dontuse it then he's limiting himself.

Actually, it was directed to the general public since 9th Wonder is lurking this thread right now, lol. People treating him like a 'god' is only from what you probably seen on (small parts of) FP, forums online like this or a small producers circle of Fruity Loop users.

Most don't even know who 9th Wonder is when they listen to his music, even producers who just got on him. They didn't even know he uses Fruity Loops. That's a bad justification to label him overrated.

Why does it matter if 9th Wonder knows 'piano' or not?

9th Wonder can just get James Poyser or someone else to do keys like on Erykah Badu's "Honey".

Seems like either some didn't watch the interview or didn't understand it.
