Hey I decided to re-do " I Get Money" by 50 Cent...I've been working on my kick drums and I really liked the one in the song so I tried to make one that sounded like it but then I did the whole song again in just one night...It sounds pretty crappy actually when you compare the two but just tell me what ya think on my Myspace...Thanks!

i know what u mean. I definetly don't try 2 contrive to what's hot now or try to emulate a particular style - but i guess this time i have had my ear 2 close to what others are making.

with ur beat, i like it. the drums are nice. but it would've been nice to see a different melody - but i understand u're trying 2 re-make it. but i like the beat drops 2.

the patch/istrument/vst what ever u used, anmd the keys bit i meant like what keys were used to play it like the sheet music just for that instrument not the whole track

Thanks for hitting my thread... I appreciate it...

I like the remake, the kick drum is on point i believe... The EFX was on point was identical as well... The only thing that was wrong was the snare (obviuosly)... The synth melody is good... But i am really impressed by the fatness of the kick... Good job, just change the snare

ha aw man that snare...from swizz beatz' im a hustla....i heard its a preset from something but I dont know what though...I read it somewhere on here though...I can't get a snare to sound anything like that yet, it sounds like a snare layered with a loud hi hat or something

oh and thats just a preset from a korg...what do you mean by sheetmusic? the exact notes?

I listened to all your beats that you had on the page. The I Get Money remake is a little off the the synth. Also the drums don't sound like the original. Your be are aight you just need to change up ya style more.

Kick is banging.
The snare fits, I'm not necessarily a fan of the electronic sounding snares however ( just preference though ).
The synth melody follows along with everything near perfectly; there were a few places that I thought the notes were out-of-tune though ( in the hook ).

Overall, it was sweet.
Keep it up.

*edit- this is coming from strictly an instrumental point-of-view, I haven't heard the actual 50 Cent song.

it's pretty close man, good job... I think the drums could sound a bit "crispier", but other than that it was nice, keep it up man
