I know this is a pretty subjective and open question but I said Id give it a shot!<br><br>So Im a male vocalist and Ive been recording vocals for EDM for awhile now and although I get good enough results with the mic I have I know I could be getting better results.<br><br>At the moment I use a blue dragonfly condenser mic. Although the sound is crisp and clean out of it, the mic is very sensitive and cant take loud vocals too well without clipping or distortion. The sound I get off the mic is thin, I want a mic that makes the vocal sound warm and fat almost. <br><br>www dot youtube dot com/watch?v=Hy6G8Ostvbg<br><br>This is an example my vocal so you get an idea of my type of voice.<br><br>So I have a budget of 1000 to get a new vocal mic and was hoping I could get some educated advice off people. I need a mic that doesnt clip or peak easy like the dragonfly when I go for louder notes.<br><br>Thanks guys
