New beat, need feedback (feedback returned)

Those are some really dope melodies that you have going on. The sounds are nice too, the only thing is the mix is not great. I suggest that you turn down all the instruments discluding the drums, and layer the kick with a more quick attack hitting kick. Once this is mixed/mastered this will be mad dope.

i dig the melodies and its a dope overall beat, only thing is some of the instruments sound a little thin so if you could fix that when you're mixing you'll be set

did you make this in Reason?? I feel liek i've used some of those sounds lol. Nice one though. A nice banger for sure. I might try compressing the horns and voice together. i think that would really glue them together and yet allow them to shine when it is just one or the other playing. And i'd like to hear the snare and clap up a bit, but I feel like a quieter clap is kind of typical of the genre, so you could possibly just leave it and try brightening up the snare/clap with a little hi end EQ boost.

That trumpet is piercing in the beginning, well my monitors are really loud as well. The bass needs to knock a bit harder though, i dont know why i just feel like it needs something else, its seems like a steady loop all the way through the verse, no real breaks or anything. Def a good concept though, needs a little work though, it leaves nothing to the imagination.

Thanks for the feedback, Its nice to hear from a different perspective. The trumpet being too loud and bass not being loud enough is to do with my mixing skills. I just get lost after I start doing it. Listening back to it now I get what you are saying it doesn't make you think whats next, you kind of know what to expect.

Cool beat, I like the drums, they sound good. But the rest sounds pretty flat, which is the only thing you might wanna improve. The instruments sound really stock and unreal. Improve their sound and it's all good :)
Peace

Epic! Trumpet is ill, i really like the choir too. Maybe it's just me but i feel like you should bring out more higher frequencies on the kick...maybe bring out the clap too...tambourine sounds nice. I like how you kept switching up the beat here and there.
