Im really tryna figure out how to recreate the guitar sounds in old r&b songs in fl studio.

some good examples are
always on time- ja rule
sunshine- lil flip
dilemma- nelly

any preset info and music theory info pertaining would be greatly appreciated!

dilemma- nelly

initial guitar sounds like an es335, moderate chorus, autowah, very mild overdrive, pinch-picking of solo notes - the welcome to nellyville schtick

in the song itself - no guitar but electric piano and glockenspiel

sunshine- lil flip

could be either strat or les paul - chorus/flanging, 3 note chords on the EBG strings for the most part, each as downward arpeggios (very fast crush type arpeggios), using decorations/extensions to the basic chord and resolving to chord tones or vice versa, the guitar is panned right to left as the chord is worked in each bar

sounds like a strat rhythm middle position,

similar to the approach used in the lil flip song,

additional strong use of hammer-pull-off embellishments

using more than three strings for the chords but still minimal note use instead of full bodied six string chords,

wow! amazing in depth responses bandcoach! what scales are in place? and what would the best way of getting around to that type of guitar on a fl studio VST?
