Kick Drums in Reason with kong, levels are not constant? why?

So I pick a sample and I've tried everything so the sample sounds the same each time it plays but it always sounds different, its got like a weird swing to it no matter what. Even if I use their physical bass drum or the nano sampler. Does anyone know why?

To repeat this you can select a sample, turn down the decay all the way on the drum patch and then turn up the levels. Make sure your velocities are equal all the way through but when the sample plays back everything is not the same, as if they have different velocities. What causes this?

I've had this problem with sub-tractor too, initialize the patch and put in a bunch of c notes like a kick drum, turn down the decay and make the velocities the same and play it back and each initial hit is different.
