New FP Feedback & Bugs Reporting Thread!

This one

I'll enter. this aint my best, but its all for fun. I used Billy Preston - Wrote a simple song from JCs remix list or w/e, laced a acapella on it, heres the remix version:
........

has a url embedded bewtween the soundcloud tags, making it difficult for the vBulletin parser to render the links to html properly:

[SOUNDCLOUD][URL="http://soundcloud.com/dopeantelope/honey-instrumental-produced-by"]Honey Instrumental [Produced By Dope Antelope] [Billy Preston - I Wrote a Simple Song] by dopeantelope on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free[/URL][/SOUNDCLOUD]

It would be better to separate the two tags like so:

[SOUNDCLOUD]http://soundcloud.com/dopeantelope/honey-instrumental-produced-by[/SOUNDCLOUD]

[URL="http://soundcloud.com/dopeantelope/honey-instrumental-produced-by"]Honey Instrumental [Produced By Dope Antelope] [Billy Preston - I Wrote a Simple Song] by dopeantelope on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free[/URL]

Honey Instrumental [Produced By Dope Antelope] [Billy Preston - I Wrote a Simple Song] by dopeantelope on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free

In other words, users need some edumecation on how to use the tags and what not to mix up

This is also probably the problem with sig-file links to soundcloud for the vast majority of users

OK, is it just me or are the servers playing up - it is 3:48 on a Sunday afternoon in Sydney, making it roughly 5am in London and midnight in New York

The server keeps vacillating between everything has been seen (nothing new to view) to nothing has been seen (everything is a virgin, unread post) and I have notifications pending which I have definitely viewed more than once.

Also table formatting is on the blink, probably realted but just adding everything in at once.

I thought my computer was on the fritz. I'm glad to see that it's not... There's definitely something going wrong here.

something's wrong, i hold my head,
avatars gone - our personality dead,

It shows "Vbulletin" avatar instead of our avs :d

I see it too. Close FP, clear your cache, and then return to FP. If that fails, clear cookies also. But clearing cache alone may do the trick.

Nothing has changed. Got this same problem using another browser.

Seems like it's not just you with this issue. Stay put for now. Works fine for me, but other mods are also being affected by this issue.

OK, new bug

Clicking on either the

Quicklinks>View Site Leaders

or

the View Site Leaders link above the Users Online

leads to a blank page at the moment

the link itself is this

Charter-La any word on https://www.futureproducers.com/for...ers-com/site-feels-little-overwhelmed-397301/?

EDIT: Looks like it is the Aussies doing the leg work... tsk tsk tsk :P

Yes, we've been having problems with server overload stemming from a problem with a PHP extension we've added a few weeks ago for improving Audiofanzine (another site we run on the same server). Form time to time, this extension starts crashing without any reason. We're still investigating why this happens and if there is some workaround. On the meantime I've asked our admins to add sentinels to better detect those crashes and perform automatic restart of the server when this happens.
