IK Has something up their sleeve

Up to 52 pics now. They added some more Orange and Vox pics. With all this gear in mind - is there any one group or guitarist that used all this?

I've used a lot of that stuff. I forgot to add the Groove Tubes mic to my list last time I was looking at the photos.

56 pics now. They added Vox, Trace Elliot, and Roland pics today.
NAMM Show starts January 14, 2010.

Some folks are speculating a formal announcement regarding whatever this is will occur then. I hope it's sooner!

Peace...

I was thinking some sort of British sound related release but not sure.

Could it be Amplitube Led Zeppelin edition? That would be awesome. :)

Amplitube 70s Classic Rock Edition!!!

Does it come with a windowless van painted with a big breasted chick holding a laser? Or will that be a later promo?

:)

We were hoping to, but we're experiencing problems modeling the feathered hair. The people at FlowBee aren't willing to work with us to get you the hardware bundled to do it yourself. We'll keep you posted!

C'mon folks, I think someone from here could get this. I know Obi gives us lots of IK reviews and help here, so it would be nice to get the winner here as a nod to him and the forum.

Now at 63 pics. They added a few new pics: Two with a lot of pedals in them. One of a leslie. And a pic full of amps and cabinets.

So many pictures... so much gear...

Awesome stuff.

Man, oh man, the Orange PORN! Who's garage did you guy's rob?

Honestly, I FINALLY see some of my favorite gear in those picks. Although I prefer the Russian Big Muff Pi. It's a little smoother. What's up with the Leslie though? I think we are still in for a surprise.

Go to wikipedia.org and type in "leslie speaker".

There's a list of songs that used electric guitar and a leslie along with other leslie information.

Pretty interesting stuff.

Yeah, the Leslie is probably the most versatile of the gear shown (aside from the microphones) I suppose. Even if this is 100% guitar, remember that the algos from other products show up in things like SampleTank, etc. I have no idea if that would happen here, honestly, but it is something we do.
