Doing multiple conversions on drum samples with mpc and s900

Well was just wondering about the conversion part, a asr 10 is also a option.

The ASR 10 is a 16 bit sampler.

I used the s900+mpc2000 combo around 2002, and since I wanted to store everything on my zip, I did not even try using midi.
Just sampled in to the 900, and then sampled the 900 into the 2k, and called it a day.
I preferred having all my data in one machine.
