So I wanted try test the water of deep house styles and this is something I came up with. The vocal was just a file that i cut, pitched and modified to make it work. There was a bit of inspiration from Jamie XX and Disclosure. And the main synth had a bit of porter inspiration. Tell me what you guys think.

If you like it, visit my soundcloud and give a like or even a repost. It will help a lot.

This is a very well done job mate :D
Loving percs and the looped voice.
An advice imho: try to split the frequencies making them more clear and use a compressor for the dynamic parts like bass, kick and percs.
Overall a very well done job!

Cheers

Thanks man, I appreciate the feedback!

Yeah I'm not the best with mastering yet so I'm still learning.

dayuuum! really good track!

the melodies are cool. the pads being used in the background goes really good with the vocal and percussions.
the percussions are also awesome.

PS: if you dont mind, could you please email me the audio clip of the "i need you" vocal part you used? would help me a lot for my productions! my email is geryadrian26@gmail.com

cheers!

Wow, nice track man!

Really love that intro airy synth and the percussion in the back.
The structure had a nice flow to it as well!

Agree with everyone above,
Great job on this one :)

Ya! I'll e-mail it to you this weekend. Thanks for the feedback!

hey, i think youve done a great job with the vocals here, love it when it pitches up!

few things i didnt like, the weird perc that sounds around 1:33. That sound stands out to me in a bad way, kinda feels cheap atm. Perhaps switch to a different sound or add some reverb or delay for complexity. Another thing i noticed was that the track feels quite rushed, you should take some time in the middle before the second drop to establish a proper breakdown. House music kinda needs to be a minimum length of 5mins. Try taking another track you like and using it as a template for timing ;) I think you have all the elements here to make a great track though! good work :)

would appreciate feedback on mine:

Ya, I was just trying to be a bit different with the percussion, so that explains that lol. And I did make it a bit short, only because i felt like it was getting far too repetitive and somewhat boring.
