Very nice

Kavie: I think you are right. It looks more like the R144 than the Revelation. Thanks

Sorry for the terrible picture, just used my phone real quickstudiocontrol.webp

Thanks bruh, I've got monitors, I just updated my setup from a laptop to a desktop w/dual screens and they were too big so I had to move my monitors. I'm gonna extend that shelf that my screens are on and put my monitors back up around the end of this month. The decks are 800's and I'm about to replace them as well.

HERES a video that I did for another site but you can see my old setup w/laptop and monitors.

Thanks James Ive got that covered too, I have a pair of 1210's...

I have not used cd turntables in a long time. myabe you can help me with some questions. are there any models, maybe like the ones you own, that accurately recreate the FEELING of throwing vinyl? my problem was that the last time i used cd tables, it wasnt like the real thing, if you throw the disc faster and let go, it doesnt gradually slow down. i couldnt get it to do wind downs like vinyl. this was about 5 years ago i used one, have they fixed these issues? or am i better off getting scratch live to mix my own samples?

@youhopeirot - I wouldn't say it perfectly recreates the feeling of throwing vinyl but it's very close. It took me about one month to really get used to cd decks so the conversion isn't that bad. I can't think of anything that you can't do on cd decks that you can do on tt's but there's tons of things that you can do on decks thats impossible on tt's. On my decks, if you throw them faster, they DO gradually slow down but they do it faster than a turntable will. As far as Scratch Live vs CD Decks...thats really a tough one but I will say this...the larger the wheels the more accurate they feel compared to actual turntables. I also have one of those dual deck cd players with the little jog wheels and they suck as far as scratching or any tricks other than basic scratches...I will post a pic if I can find it...but keep that in mind, the bigger the wheel the better in my opinion.

@Coldfusion - Oh yeah, my boy has Traktor and that ish is nice! I'm luving what they are doing with gear these days and Native Instruments is really standing up for DJ's and producers while others are leaning away.
