He's kinda on the rise...
I've heard some stories of him stealing beats tho

He remade the ballin beat for jeezy and wayne originally produced by lex

only beats ive liked by him at all were on the sno album most of his shit sounds cheap and thin tho

I think Ace Hood took the Lex "Ballin" beat for his album. Lody beats are cool but he has this thing where his hats have nothing to do with the rest of the beat. He did some cool stuff on the Sno tape tho...

Yeah ace hood originally did a song over the beat so I guess jeezy had lil lody remake it. Waka flocka and southside were dissing lil lody in one of those luger blogs, lex ain't say much tho. I don't know if the beef was over that situation or not.

Ohhhhh.....now it makes sense.

I think he only "stole" one beat. The whole Ballin thing with Ace Hood/Jeezy is kind of confusing. From what I gather, Lody remade the beat before Ace Hood's version produced by Lex dropped officially, then he gave it to Jeezy and he dropped his around the same time Ace Hood's came out.

But basically Lody used to be down with Bricksquad and the 808 Mafia (Luger, Southside) then I guess there was some type of fallout. All those guys make similar sounding beats. Eventually he hooks up with Jeezy and now he's basically an in house producer for CTE. You can tell when you hear a Lody beat when you hear the "AHHHHHH....THAT'S RIGHT" at the beginning.

Lody was never wit Briccsquad or Maybach Music

He was a member of a Memphis group called 47 Mobb with Criminal Manne and Dj Squeeky

Dj Squeeky accused Lody of stealing the beat for Gunplay and Waka Flocca "Rollin" from him

Lody tried to tricc one of my beatmaker homies into sendin him the FLstudio file for a beat he wanted... Lody claimed he jus wanted to "move some stuff around and add some thing".... when I refused to give him the FLstudio file he got upset and stopped communicating with us

Lody is a beat thief.... a melody biter.... and he takes credit for beats he didn't make

and his tag isn't "Ahhhh... thats right"
its "Yeahhhhhhhh.... its Lil Lody on the tracc

I believe Lody is also being sued by Juicy J and Project Pat of Three-6 Mafia... I think becuz of a contract breach

Lody does give his beats away to major artists in exchange for features, cars, jewelry and publicity

He's a "clicc hopper"
first he was with 47 Mobb
then he hooked up with Three-6 Mafia
while he was working with Three-6 Mafia he produced the song "Summers Mine" for Rick Ross which was allegedly a Young Jeezy diss song
he then hooked up wit Maybach Music to produced for Rick Ross and Triple C's
then he ended up producing for Young Jeezy after he recreated the "Ballin" beat for Jeezy

I didn't say he was down with MMG, even though he did do "Rollin" "Summer's Mine" and "Bugatti Boyz" but he was definitely down with Bricksquad and the 808 Mafia for a little. He wasn't signed or anything I don't think, but he def made beats for Waka and Gucci.

I have no idea about his background with stealing beats, unless what you say is true. You'd have to post pictures and stuff like that. The Ballin thing is weird. Both beats are the same minus some drum pattern differences. I definitely think Lody robbed that beat.

Lody, Southside and Luger all have eerily similar styles.
