Most of these free Beat rappers will either start making $ and evolve into beat buyers or stay posting distorted freestyles on rapbattle.com. I look at Producers the same way, when I first started i downloaded all the kitz n cracked shit i could find. Now I buy everything. All these other cats who stay on the free shit wont have the drive to invest $ in other areas and %90 wont get anywhere.

Thanks man, I was going to go a different direction because just the drums were going then I remember I had that vst from U-he so I load up 3 or 'em and picked 3 sounds and let it ride. I left it stripped down because I was tempted to rap on it... then the emceein' inspiration left... it lasted less than 2 minutes...

So Yesterday I made a post for "beat selling websites". Being the dude that I am I shared that same post on a few different forums and peep the response I received here. Now to be honest I could give a f**k how these cats feel but I thought I'd share this response with you guys and show you the mentality that exists inside the mind of these 'aspiring' rappers...

Now, I aint saying all dudes think like this, but when you, the producer, play yourself by giving away your stuff and jockin m$#haF**kaz you invite this mentality and add to the devaluation of your craft.

Something to think about.

They're forum rappers they don't buy beats because forum producers give them free beats or their friends or they'll rp on industry stuff. They don't care its almost like a mixtape rapper. Find forreal artists and form bonds with them. They will buy beats from you. But you can't enter this about money. Money is nice but its gotta be more than that or your grind will never stop that's hustling backwards. Find dope serious mcs let em know u got beats and where they're at and that they're for sale. Eventually they'll come to you for your style beats just like cats go to Premier for a Preemo beat and not just any old random beat. This games about relationships always has been.
