I'm not gonna make a video about coz it seems you'll get it if you just read it carefully. Anyways, this is what I would do.
Now with Reason5+Record, for example, NN-XT, if you want to make sampled beats, you could just load a single long sample that will create a ZONE.
After that, you right+click into it and COPY ZONE.
After that, edit the sample on the SAMPLE EDITOR and set the markers. So now you'll have a SLICE.
After that, right+click on the NN-XT's Editor then PASTE ZONE, it will now create a new copy of a sample, then open its SAMPLE EDITOR again and set some slice(it's not really different than setting slices in Recycle, except you'll just have one slice).
Just do this continuously, to create more slices to be distributed on your keboard.
And that goes the same in Kong too, except you're dealing with pads not zones. I find it easier in Kong though, coz I find it neater to work with samples in there. But in NN-XT, you can spread the sample on your keyboard, which is also an advantage over Kong. So, it's just a matter of taste.
And my favorite about it, if you pair it with Record, you can load a lot of samples on the sequencer. Razor cut all of the bits of samples that has potential to be used. Drag it into a NEW TRACK, then join all of the samples that you've razor cut, and then right+click and choose BOUNCE SAMPLE TO DISK.
And you did all of that, in one program.
