something about pop/ trance/ house/ dance music whatever you want to call it is that its global. Dance music IS music in Europe. US is just starting to get that wave but we will Americanize it like "sexy *****". where the beat is real trancy, 4 on the floor kicks, heavy bass ect but it will be more main stream with verses and hooks in the regular 3 and a half minute time frame. Whether people like it or not if youre wanting to succeed in this industry you have to go with the trends. Example like Ludacris and Tao Cruz song. Or Usher's new song 'More' or whatever its called. Pop/ trance/ dance music is the future. If you can make a hott dance track that people (women) will dance to, relate to, and buy, you will be successful. period. Ive embraced it. I'll be honest Akons song "getting naked" or w/e is one of the most annoying songs EVER!! A horny 16 yr old kid from the burbs coulda made that hook. But when the song comes on in the club people will go nuts because its sexy. It is what it is music is a business.

save the songs that mean something for non-singles I guess lol.
 
i love the idea of dre branching out cuz he's my favorite producer and i hate the idea of him becoming unpopular. I want him to make hot music forever.

it inspires me to see him grow and i would prefer detox to sound like a completely different sound from 2001. If it sounded like another 2001 it would probably just remind people of a worse version of that classic.

RedOne is ****ing killing it straight up. Pretty much every Lady gaga single was a huge hit all over the world. Everyone loves her music because of that dance feel..europe aswell as the states. I don't see how she doesn't deserve this.


And Dr. Dre colaborating with her...so what. Who said dre is just restricted to hip hop music. There are enough hip hop fans who like lady gaga music. I'm sure a collabo wouldn't really hurt Dr. Dre's cred.

U can tell she's heavily influenced by Madonna. I've loved every single from Gaga. To tell you the truth Pop music is fresher than hip-hop (for the most part) nowadays.
