i really do get what dude was trying to say he just failed to explain it correctly


me personally i dont hate soundclick

ive actually found some people who are really skilled at what they do on soundclick

but i dont like what soundclicks become and that for the most part is becuz dont like what musics become in general

im sick of 1 million and one snares in a beat

im sick of horns and chants

and im sick of techno hybrids

and more importantly im sick of the west coast as a whole not having a sound

but whatever get youre money cuz i guess thats what counts now

i just wish people would stop biting and following the same formula as everyone else

as ive said b4 music used to be a form of expression those days are gone and its sad

please use youre talents to contribute excellence not recycled garbage

im not speaking to anyone in particular its not a diss just trying to spark some motivation in people

This generation didn't grow up like the one before.

Nwa sounded different from 2 short

2 short sounded different from e-40

e-40 sounded different from the hotboys

hotboys sounded different from jay-z

jay-z sounded different from 2pac

2pac sounded different frm everybody


you get the picture ..this is just the class of th 90's

the 80's are a whole new monster

its not dated.. The sound that IS OUT NOW passing for that r&b is dated. They did all these sounds before. It was just the black community keep the soul in the music

now the soul in the music is gone because most have truly sold thier souls.

yes it all followed a similiar suit but it was very much different as a whole

its because there is no motivation or goal now except money producers are the worst for this i would say.

thus bringin in a new world order for music.

its not just music the entire society we live in at least in north america is a consumer mindstate u have to have the nicest things out due others its true that money is the root of all evil

I agree that the soundclick top 10 is the most monotonous grouping of beats on the internet. but its not like the producers aint talented, they just need to switch it up.

im eatin a salami sandwich right now i found the best way to explain whats going on

its like someone created three beat templates

and 90 percent of producers are using those same templates

for quick money and for a quick pat on the back


its like you have 20 people locked in the room and the only way to get out of that room is by choosing a leader to represent that group of people so this group of 20 people choose to lay it down and choose a leader to get out the room simple becuz they lack strength and will

now back in the day that room was filled with 20 people in the same way but everyone of those dudes fought non stop to be the leader not one person liked the idea of being ruled they wanted their own kindom to rule and now and then when feeding time came one of those people knocked passed the man with the food and made his escape

and this goes way beyond music its the life as we know it

i agree with you 100 percent but if they switched it up it might dent there stream of income and we cant have that now can we lol.....and i looked at the top ten the other day and its clear with a few that beats have jack **** to do with it they just have a mean promotion game and thats kinda ass backwards when u think bout it

Look back at history. It is now time again for that change only thing is that everyone will be on the same line this time. Because its global.

Now everyone get everything at the same time. I remember seeingartists and having the wow factor. Like Mchael Jackson on Motown 25 . that was incredible.

But now you have artists tweeting nonsense decreasing their star power and giving the consumer the real view.

Which is not a pretty sight.

I never idolized anyone.,b ut i do remember the days of having to train the ear because you-tube wasn't around with information. You had the back of the cd cover credits and your ears.

i think its more along the lines of weak vs strong and the weak recentlly learned they over power the strong in numbers
so if they all ban together they can create a world were we have no choice but to live in it and they have successfully done that
but
they forgot they are weak
and more importantly the strong are under the misconception the weak are strong becuz they run sht in mass numbers
now if we could show the strong the light we could forcefully take what the weak now control
